Students and parents can access the VHS collection from home by visiting Verbena Library Program Manager, This is a web-based catalog search. This allows you to check availability of books, create lists, and review your account (due dates, holds, overdue books/fines).

MISSION STATEMENT

The primary objective of the Library Media Center is to implement, enrich, and support the educational program of the schools. It is the duty of the center to provide a wide range of materials on all levels of difficulty, with diversity of appeal, and the presentation of different points of view.


VISION STATEMENT

The vision of the Chilton County Media Centers is a student-centered program that promotes effective learning and teaching strategies and activities with information access skills through collaboration, leadership, and technology to ensure that students within the school community become lifelong learners.

The circulation policy for Verbena students is as follows:

Students may check out 2 books at a time.

The loan period for library books is 2 weeks.

Replacement costs for lost or damaged books will be due as soon as possible.
